Curriculum Vitae
He was born in 1984 in Topolcany, Czechoslovakia. He graduated from the Janacek Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, Faculty of Theatre, majoring in drama direction. Additional pedagogical education at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.
He lives in Liptovsky Mikulas, is engaged in pedagogical activity as a lecturer and trainer of acting, art and performance art with an overlap to film and audio visual art.
He runs the independent theatre Gasparego in Liptovsky Mikulas. He co-founded the cultural centre Hole in the World, where he is still the financial director and statutory representative. Externally, he cooperates with Slovak Radio and Television, writes essays, entertainers and radio plays. He works as a health clown for the Red Nose n.o. Clowndoctors.

John Clown is the performance persona of Jan Mikuš, born on 30 November 2016. A character created from the faults and pleasures of life. All good Clowns enjoy imperfection.
Writer, director and clown. He works for Clowndoctors in Slovakia, cooperates with the National Art Radio, leads the independent Gasparego Theater, founded the clown laboratory Champ de tension, and co-founded Diera do sveta Cultural Center.
